Asher’s 1 year surgi-versary

1 year ago today, 3-month-old Asher underwent a major reconstructive surgery of his skull, which was misshapen at birth from a congenital malformation called craniosynostosis. Although we faced some tough times during his journey through surgery and recovery, we were overwhelmingly inspired by his go-with-it, happy spirit. Now 15 months old, Asher continues to inspire us every day. I imagine I’ll never tire of seeing the joy he brings to the world just by being his loving, sweet self.DSC_1287 DSC_1305 DSC_1308 DSC_1314 DSC_0275 DSC_0346 IMG_1017
