Keeping up with the Rosses

By popular demand, here’s another clip of Isla doing her swim lessons. She’s doing really so well, but she’s still quite emotional about it. I brought this up to Elliot and he just grinned quietly. “What?” I asked. “She’s so much like you,” he replied. I actually feel better about it when I see it as something I also do. I often feel conflicting emotions simultaneously! As far as swim lessons go, I really think Isla feels proud of her accomplishments. But I also think she’s a bit intimidated. And when it comes to toddlers and water, well, a little intimidation is probably very, very important. Or so I tell myself each day as she and I are driving to the pool… 🙂
