Preschool Christmas Show

What a difference a year can make. This year, Isla did not need any convincing or cajoling, and she also didn’t cry! When we arrived to the auditorium, she walked over to her teachers all on her own. On stage, she sang and danced with her classmates. She looked nervous, and afterward told us she definitely was, but she did it. Her class sang “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” in Japanese, then “Jingle Bell Rock” in English. Both songs also included sign language and simple dance choreography- impressive for a group of kids aged 3 to 5! After this performance, who knows- maybe it’s time to give ballet or gymnastics another try?

  1. I noticed that Asher’s chevron tie matches the chevrons on Isla’s dress – nice touch. I also remember last Christmas in Okinawa. We miss you all.
