Isla, Asher and I just returned from a quite spontaneous trip to Hong Kong with friends. Elliot stayed home to study for an upcoming board exam. We were too busy during the trip to keep up with the blog, but I’m going to try to recap over the next few days.
On the first day, we basically arrived, settled into our apartment, and scoped out the subway system. We set off bright and early the next morning- 3 moms, 7 kids, and 1 friend whose kids are all grown and back in the States- for our first adventure. Subway to the center of the city, walking for a few blocks, and a tram up to Victoria’s Peak. We spent most of the day up at Victoria’s Peak. For the afternoon, we rode the Star Ferry across the harbor then walked around the city for a bit, ending the evening with a dinner out.
