Para-para-paradise

Let me start with a little background on Guam, which may or may not actually be true. The Navy base is in the middle of the island (true). The Air Force base is at the north of the island (true). These 2 bases are separated by only about 18 miles (true), but for Guam, that’s basically the same as the distance between Jupiter and Mars (true).

So here’s the part I’m not as sure about: it seems like Navy people stick to Navy territory and Air Force people stick to Air Force territory. I don’t think there’s actual bad feelings, I think it’s just the Jupiter/Mars thing.

We are Navy people, of course, but we live in neither territory, so we’ve been a little confused as to where our boundaries are. At least, that’s what I’m saying if we’re accused of breaking any unspoken rules. Because today, we ventured up to Mars. Dun, dun, duuuunnnn.

Check out these pictures. And then, check out the discounted airfares to Guam. We have plenty of room for guests!

PS- the up close picture of sand granules on my hand is not evidence of a mind past it’s prime. Well I guess that’s arguable, but my point is, I took the picture to try to capture the star sand. Look close! A few star sand granules made it into the frame. Fascinating!
